A new office opens in Mechelen: Amaris strengthens its presence in Flanders

Published: 21 February 2019,

In 2019, we continue to grow and expand internationally by regularly opening new offices around the world.
Because we want to offer the same level of service and expertise to all our clients everywhere, we have decided to open an Amaris office in the Flanders region in Belgium. We are always strengthening the group by integrating new cultures.
Mechelen was identified as an ideal base for Amaris because, among other reasons, it’s considered a highpotential city for investors and a place to find some of the best experts in technologies and engineering.
Why Mechelen? Since Dutch and French are both official languages in Belgium, and as we are a multicultural company, we will balance our presence on the market by targeting a larger group of Dutch speakers. This will enable us to create a second growth area to meet the needs of local clients and consultants.
“The British newspaper ‘Financial Times’ listed Mechelen: 1st in the “connectivity” category, 6th in the “Micro European Cities of the future 2018/2019” category (1st in continental Europe), as well as 10th for “economic potential”.
A large number of graduates from Antwerp, Brussels and Leuven choose to settle there, creating a “talent pool” of multilingual, highly qualified experts.
Key Facts & Figures: Business opportunities: Breakthrough for our IS&D (Information Systems & Digital) activities and further strengthen our Science & Technologies footprint
