Gabriela Restovic (Amaris Consultant) published an opinion piece in the latest issue of the Medwave journal (December 2011). This editorial presents some aspects of the reforms proposed for the financing of the private health care system in Chile, compared to the Spanish health system that is based on three pillars: equity, equality and citizen participation.

As every years, Mercer published the "Quality of Living woldwide city rankings". In 2011, Zurich is the second best city to live in and Geneva is ranked at the 8th place.

As part of consulting projects on Corporate Finance and International Strategy, Amaris works in partnership with the international MBA of EM Lyon.

Amaris UK was present at ISPOR Conference at the beginning of November. on this occasion, Yiling, staff Amaris UK, won an "ISPOR Scientific Award".

Amaris in Barcelona is currently working on a project called CDN at Telefónica R&D.

The Telefónica CDN (Content Delivery Network) is a product which has grown a lot and has drawn the attention of some mayor players on the Internet market, such as Google, MegaUpload, Tuenti, Redes, and many more.

Amaris organizes a Jobdating on October 20, on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of ETIC Technologies (the Insa's Junior Company) and the Personnal Development Day.

Amaris revises its growth forecasts for the year 2011. Indeed, the group expects to have nearly 500 people at the end of the 1st semester and 600 people at the end of the year.

Amaris reiterates its partnership with the junior company of the School Insa of Lyon, ETIC Technologies, for the second consecutive year.

The goal is still this year to help the junior company developing its activities, thanks to many trainings in different sectors, given by the Amaris group, to the members of the association.

Within this partnership, a jobdating will be organized at the Insa of Lyon, sometime in the 2nd semester 2011. Details will be communicated as soon as possible.

Aline Gauthier, Amaris UK Director, teaches regularly a lesson called “Economic evaluation of health care programs, methods and applications”, at the National School of Statistics and Information Analysis (ENSAI – Rennes, France).

She presents to the third-year students the medico-economics evaluation methods (economics models, statistics, sources data, costs evaluation, cost/efficiency notions, budget impact and uncertainty evaluation).
