Technical Project Manager / Warranty Engineering

Warranty Engineering

Responsibilities:
• Manage projects from production stage until expiration of the warranty period of the product
• Support of our systems on the vehicles delivered worldwide
• Collection and analysis of the operating performance and converter failures including generation of according statistics
• Derivation of proposals to improve the operational performance and coordination of measures to be implemented
• Preparation of control software for the converter master unit of the latest generation
• Independent implementation of software packages from requirement specifications to implementation to testing and commissioning on the simulator and on the vehicle
• Coordination of interfaces and close cooperation with our vehicle engineering, the converter and system engineering and other nationally and internationally located development departments
• Deputy Team leader
• Reporting to supervising line bodies and specialist departments

Your profile:

• Education as electrical engineer or software engineer (university or school of applied sciences) with specialization in power electronics or propulsion technology.
• Application knowledge of high performance traction unit.
• Knowledge in programming in C or another programming language, user knowledge of databases and SAP
• Good communication and negotiation skills in an international environment
• Good command of German and English; other languages are considered an asset.
• Ability to travel abroad.
