Technical Product Manager TCMS

Technical Product Manager (m/f) TCMS


The Train Control and Management System (TCMS) is used for full range of rail vehicles as well as for third party vehicle builders. The system includes a full set of electronic devices, software and tools for engineering, commissioning and maintenance of rail vehicles. In this role you will be the Technical Product Manager for the TCMS products.


Your main responsibilities:


• Defining and maintaining the product portfolio roadmaps in accordance to market requirements and with respect to complete product life-cycle
• Checking functional requirements and evaluate by business cases to fund new developments for the portfolio. Contribute to the maintenance or improvement of current products
• Monitoring the development activities within his/her area of responsibility to ensure good quality products and a successful outcome
• Supporting bids and projects by providing product information and support
• Limiting project mandates for re-use and application, and approving the availability of products on the roadmap
• Securing successful product management by closely cooperating with all PPC (Propulsion and Controls) functions


Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Good knowledge about design and application of control and management systems (railway, automotive, avionic or equivalent sector)
• Willingness to travel and to work in international environment
• Fluent in English, German represents an added-value
