Your main responsibilities:
The Project Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring Quality within the project. Specifically the PQM is responsible for:
- Regular review of the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and defined processes & tools within the project.
- Ensuring that the defined level of Quality is achieved by measuring, auditing, reporting on and by implementing necessary actions to resolve Quality issues in the project on time.
- Ensuring that the project management team understands the implications of the contract requirements regarding Quality and of its application in the local environment (law, regulation, permits, codes, standards.
- Ensure the project quality requirements are included in the contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors and that an adequate level of QA/QC is applied to critical suppliers.
- Hold project Quality Kick Off Meeting to ensure that the Project Quality Plan is communicated and implemented in the project.
- Participate in project reviews and ensure quality control aspects are covered.
Qualifications
- You should possess a technical qualification in the field of engineering and hold a degree in Quality management from university or similar, or have broad experience in Quality management
- Ability to solve complex problems by means of systematic solutions
- Auditor experience
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities.
