Middleware Consultant

Major responsibilities:

Your main role will be

- Providing objective advice, specialist skills, with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of our clients on International based and innovative projects.
- Identifying project options with recommendations, providing additional resources and/or the implementation of solutions
- Primary Administrator and Support for Middleware technologies including Websphere ND Application Server, MQ Series, Pega PRPC application software.
- Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex, mission-critical middleware installations.
- Manage Middleware release and patch levels, technology versioning and product roadmaps.
- Conduct evaluations of overall system performance to develop and implement recommendations to address and resolve issues.
- Work with application development groups to tune and troubleshoot their applications within a fault-tolerant WebSphere/WAS environment
- Off-hours support and on-call rotation required
- Create and update system documentation


Qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor in computer Science or higher qualification
- 5+ years hands-on experience in System Administration and Support with a focus on Middleware technologies, including at least 3 years current experience with WebSphere installation, configuration, administration and support in high-availability, multi-platform environments.
- Expert knowledge of IBM Websphere Application Server ND, WAS clustering
- Experience installing and maintaining J2EE-based Application Server environments
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Shell scripting for administrative purposes
- Experience implementing and managing SSL certificates
- Language: Chinese and English
