In order to strengthen its team, Amaris is currently looking for a:
Development Engineer Aerospace (m/f)
Your main responsibilities:
- Analysis and calculation
- Perform detailed stress analysis and FE analysis
- Devise viable concepts and solutions based on external and internal specifications
- Establish, review and document mathematical models and extend the analysis approaches
- Establish and review technical reports and specifications, primarily in English language
- Support the proposal and costing process for winning proposals
Qualifications
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (University level) – preferably with focus on lightweight structures or mechanical systems
- Several years of experience as a development engineer, ideally in the field of space/aerospace, are a must
- Knowledge and practice in detailed stress and FE analysis
- Good knowledge and practice in the use of analysis software, such as NASTRAN, I-DEAS, Abacus, Patran
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
