System Engineer


Major responsibilities:

As an engineer involved in our Centre of Excellence you will be in charge of:

- Obtaining Customer’s (internal & external) satisfaction and confidence
- Producing the Customer Requirements Specification
- Producing the Functional Specification
- Participating to the definition of the System Architecture
- Participaing to the definition of the WorkPackages for the Systems Engineering team and for the participating Operations Products lines (first level) , produce those assigned to him and monitor those of the participating Operations Products lines.
- Carrying out integration and validation tasks in line with the Project Test & Commissioning Manager,
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all other participating units, consortium partners, sub-contractors, and consulting
- Applying the Methods and Engineering tools
- Producing competitive and technical risk analysis as well as mitigation plan
- Choosing the hypotheses for performance calculations and validate the results
- Ensuring the carry-over from previous projects and current R&Ds

We are seeking a valid system engineer that will be able to specify, integrate and validate the Transport System Solution, as well as controlling the technical consistency through a strong interfaces Management and QCD approach. We value teamwork experience and accountability as well as natural ability of communicating with transparency. The role you will be involved in requires operational effectiveness and a strong ability to make decision.


Qualifications/skills:

- Use Seasoned Judgement, create enthusiasm and promote teamwork acting as a team player
- Use Business Indicators as well as Technical and Industry Experience
- Foster Open Dialogue and Listens, which helps in managing conflicts of ideas
- Advanced University Degree in Engineering
- Fluent in English, and fluent in contract language
- Knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices
- Good co-ordination and communication
