Mechanical Engineer / Designer (m/f)

Your main responsibilities:

- Executing the analytical and numerical mechanical calculations for the sizing of products,
- Checking the documentation and notes sent to clients,
- Executing the mechanical design of products taking into account client specifications and directives, internal guidelines, design instructions, input data and conception rules,
- Working in interface with Thermal team and Manufacturing quality team for design optimization,
- Preparing the conception rules updating (internal standards, codes …)
- Providing proposals for design improvement and cost reduction.



Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Engineering activities in industrial environment or beginner with significant internship,
- Experience in power plant engineering,
- Knowledge of pressure vessel codes (CODAP, ASME, AD2000, EN13445 mandatory, WRC107, RCCM, TEMA helpful),
- Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering formulas,
- Skills of at least one pressure vessel calculation software (Microprotol or equivalent : Compress, CEA-CPM, PV-Elite, Sicap…)
- Knowledge in calculation codes (CM66, UBC, …)
- Knowledge of pressure vessels,
- Knowledge in drawings & diagrams as P&ID reading and checking,
- Understanding of thermal calculations
- Knowledge of FEA principles, skills in FEA software (as ANSYS) helpful (but not mandatory)
