System Engineer Cooling & Ventilation

Your responsibilities:
You are responsible for the development of our vehicles' cooling and ventilation systems. This includes the cooling for propulsion equipment (converter, transfomer, diesel engine) and ventilation for motors and machine room. You support also heating and air conditioning of the driver's cab. You are responsible to design the complete functionality, from the concept phase to the commissioning and homologation.
Your tasks include the creation of the functional specification, the software specifications, the safety analysis, the supplier specifications, the circuit diagrams as well as the documentation for the different components and their mechanical interfaces. Together with the suppliers you will accompany the development, the type test as well as the final inspection. You are also responsible to lead the final commissioning of the function on the vehicle.
Your qualifications:
You hold a degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering (University/University of Applied Sciences) and you have gained good knowledge in mechanical construction and detailed knowledge in thermodynamics and heat transfer, preferably in the railway, plant or a similar industry. For a graduate, the job definition can also be planned as a challenging and internally accompanied access into the business. For both levels we can offer fascinating perspectives. You like to work independently on complex tasks which will be dissolved in interdisciplinary and international teams at different sites.
Fluent German and English is required for this role within an international environment. Other language skills will represent an added-value. Worldwide projects, internationally composed teams and several sites require a high willingness to travel.
